If I downgrade my account from Essentials to Simple Start, will I still have access to all my past transactions and business history?

Hello, steve403. Yes, you will still have access to all your past transactions and business history. Your data stays in your account, so nothing is deleted when you move to the Simple Start plan.


Both plans allow you to automate and pay bills, run business reports, invoice & get paid, use automated bookkeeping, etc., so your bill history will remain fully intact and editable. However, please keep in mind that some features will no longer be available in Simple Start like bill management, recurring invoices, reputation management, appointments, lead management, and time entry will become view-only. You will also lose access to advanced tools like AI-powered collaboration.


Since Simple Start is designed for one person, you will just need to remove any extra users before you make the switch. To be safe, I recommend saving a copy of your Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet to Excel so you have a permanent record of your history.
