Invoices are in date order but furthest date away first. I need the order the other way around to stop scrolling to the bottom of the page. Can you do this?

Invoices are in date order but furthest date away first. I need the order the other way around to stop scrolling to the bottom of the page. Can you do this?

Yes, we can do that, and it is easy to display the newest invoices first on the Invoices page, Pearson. Let us guide you through the process.   

 

We can click the DATE column header to sort the invoices chronologically. This will toggle the sort order between ascending and descending order. Let me guide you on how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales tab on the left menu.
  2. Choose Invoices.
  3. Click the DATE column header to sort the invoices in chronological order.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately it doesn’t work when using the mobile app which I do all the time. Even changing it on my laptop hasn’t changed the app. Any suggestions?

Changing the invoice date order on your laptop using a web browser will not be reflected in your QuickBooks mobile app, @PearsonGarden.

 

In the app, note that we're unable to set the date range in descending order. With this, I recommend sending a message to our development team to potentially add this feature update, streamlining the process for you and other users in the future.

 

Here's how to send feedback using your iOS or Android device:

 

  1. Navigate to Menu.
  2. Tap on All.
  3. Click Request a feature on iOS or Send feedback on Android.
  4. Enter your comments or product suggestions and tick Send feedback.

 

Once the invoices are paid, record the payment using any web browser to update their status and maintain accurate financial records in your QuickBooks.
