Hello, I want to know how to put "ITEMS NUMBERING" in the invoice?
Hello Deli1,
Welcome to the Community Page for QuickBooks Online.
Can I be clear; are you referring to a product item code, for example? Instead of "Beans" - You'd have a Code such as B1 - Beans?
Thanks
Hello QuickBooks James
Thanks for your message.
Let me try to explain you, when I did the invoice at QB online it shows different columns like this
# | PRODUCT/SERVICE | DESCRIPTION | QTY | RATE |
|
|
|
|
|
It is good because I can to see all the information about my sell, but when I print the invoice it doesn't show the # column and is difficult for the packing area check how many products has each order
Is it more clear for you? is possible to see that column on my print invoice?
Hey Deli1,
That did clear things up; thank you for the clarification.
Unfortunately; there is not a method built into the system to allow you to include this. My only suggestion as a workaround - would be to add this # indicator in with the description of the items. Or to add a custom field, specifying the number of products in each order - this can be done by clicking on the cog wheel in the top right hand corner when creating the invoice and adding a custom field there, or within Custom Form Styles or the Settings page.
That # columns only serves on QuickBooks to show the ordering of which items appear in which order on the invoice itself.
Thanks,
