First, can you tell us what you see on your dashboard? You may have logged into the wrong company file, so I suggest making sure you’re logged into the correct one.
Also, please note that a Sole Trader or Solopreneur subscription doesn't include the expense feature, so you may want to check the company’s subscription under Subscriptions and billing.
If you’ve already followed these steps but still can’t create expenses or invoices or see any connected banks, try logging into your QuickBooks account using a different browser. You can also reload the page to see if that fixes the issue.
