My bank transactions won't pull back far enough for me to view and link

When linking your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), some banks only allow you to download transactions from the last 90 days, @Acfencing.  Due to these data sharing limitation from your bank, you can't be able to sync older transactions to set up your account at once. Let's delve deeper into this.

Upon connecting your bank account, QuickBooks pulls transactions from the selected accounts starting from a date you specify. However, the availability of records varies. Some banks allow downloads for up to 24 months, while others provide access to records dating back as far as 90 days.

To enter your older transactions into QBO, you'll have to upload them manually. Here's the step-by-step process:

1. Click on Transactions in the navigation panel. Then, select Bank transactions.

2. Click on the Link account▼ dropdown. Then, choose Upload from file.

3. Drag and drop your file or select it by clicking Drag and drop or select files. Then, select Continue.

4. In the Select account▼ dropdown, choose the account where you want to upload the transactions. Then, click Continue.

5. Follow the onscreen instructions to match the columns in your file to the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then, click Continue.

6. Select the transactions you'd like to import and then click Continue.

7. Click Done.

After uploading the transactions, you'll have to match and categorise them. Once reviewed, these transactions will be added to your accounts.

Additionally, reconcile the uploaded transactions to ensure they are recorded accurately in QuickBooks.
