Before I proceed, could you let me know if your customer is saying their name and address are missing from the email content itself? Or, have they already viewed the actual invoice (such as the PDF attachment or online) and noticed that their name and address are still not appearing?
It’s important to note that when emailing invoices through QuickBooks Online, the email body doesn’t display the customer’s name and address directly. Instead, these details, along with the full invoice layout, are included in the attached PDF or accessible via the Review and Pay button to view the invoice online.
To ensure your customers can see the correct details, including their name and address, I suggest advising them to click the PDF attachment or use the Review and Pay button to access the full invoice.
However, if your customer has already reviewed the invoice and there is still no name or address displayed, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Support team. They’ll be able to securely review your account and help identify the cause of this unusual behavior.
