My transactions haven’t updated since the 28th April. Does anyone know why? And how can I fix this?

Hello there, Lewis. You can perform a manual update to get the latest available transactions from your online banking account.


But before we proceed, can you tell me more about the bank you're having trouble with? Have you checked your bank's websites for alerts or notifications that might be affecting QuickBooks Online (QBO) updates? This will allow us to find the most effective solution for the issue you're encountering.


For the manual updates, here is how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu from the left panel and click the Banking tab. 
  2. Select the bank account that you're having trouble with. 
  3. Click on the Update button.


These updates your bank and credit card transactions. If you see a message about additional authentication, follow the onscreen instructions.


If manual updates are not working and while working to resolve the issue with your bank, I suggest manually uploading your transactions into QuickBooks Online as a workaround. This approach will help you maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure continuity in your accounting processes.


After pulling up new transactions, you can categorise and match online bank transactions in your QBO account.
