We use the Accept Card Payments with PayPal app. Until a couple of days ago (March 26th) this was working fine and allowing our customers to pay via PayPal using a credit card.
But yesterday we noticed that the option to pay by credit card had disappeared. Now, people must use PayPal only.
We haven’t changed anything in either PayPal or in QB.
Is there any reason why this has changed?
Many thanks
Richard
To understand why the credit card payment option has disappeared for customers using PayPal, @Standr. Let me route you to the appropriate support team to address this issue.
To begin, please note that QuickBooks only relies on the configurations you've established with PayPal. To verify, I recommend contacting the PayPal support team to determine if any recent changes to payment processing have led to the disappearance of the credit card option. They can also provide information about any known technical issues that are affecting the availability of credit card payments in the PayPal app.
You can check this resource to learn more about how to manage card payments with the PayPal app in QBO: Accept Card Payments with PayPal app in QBO.
It seems that you have already integrated PayPal with QuickBooks Online, so you can start categorizing your transactions once the data begins to flow into QBO.
Please keep me updated on any developments, @Standr. If you have any additional questions regarding the missing credit card payment option through PayPal, feel free to reach out to the Community. I'm here to assist you.
I have the same issue. You can not pay invoices with credit cards anymore; only PayPal is showing as a payment option. This is causing many issues. Nothing has changed. why is QB not resolving this issue?
