Purchase Order Approval

Can I automate purchase order approval through QBO (UK) for everything above a certain value? If not, how are people dealing with approval of PO's/Bills or are you having to do it manually?

Purchase Order Approval

Setting up an approval workflow for purchase orders is a beneficial feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), kateo2. I'm here to share details about this.

 

Currently, the option to set up a purchase order approval workflow is unavailable in QBO. However, we don't need to do it manually in the program. Instead, we can integrate various third-party applications to help accomplish this task. 

 

While we're unable to suggest what specific tool to use, you'll want to go to the Apps menu or visit our marketplace to search for the one that suits your needs. This platform offers a variety of software designed to connect with different systems and help you manage your purchase orders.

 

Here's how to search app inside QBO:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Select Apps from the left menu.
  3. From the Find Apps tab, type in Purchase Order Approvals. QuickBooks will display the list of the apps.
  4. Locate the app that you want to utilise.
