QuickBooks Self Employed is a buggy mess and I can't reach out to anyone for help

I've been a user of QuickBooks Self Employed for a while now. Switched away from Freshbooks due to the promise of an easier time, mileage tracking, and the automatic Self Assessment. The problem is, it's a completely buggy mess. For example, some (not all) frustrations listed as below:

- Pressing tab and enter when adding a new invoice item doesn't actually add it, it just disappears. This is frustrating as I do mainly everything via the keyboard and there's no reason this should happen.
- Mileage tracking works great, but when trying to select multiple items and mark them as business or personal - it breaks and tells me there's a problem with the page?

- I've switched banks twice. Now I'm constantly pestered about broken connections but when trying to remove the connection I'm told that all my previous transactions will be removed. This is silly.
- There's no way to set up auto-send for invoices. This would save me a lot of time and money

- Constantly getting popups for payment receipts for customers - I'd like a way to turn this off

- Tax profile. I can only amend it for the current year and there's no way to add in extra items for deductions.

- Invoice list keeps defaulting to sort by invoice numbers despite me clicking date and date showing as the down caret.

- Not being able to email support about any bugs found or any issues I'm having is really ridiculous when I'm paying monthly for a service/app.

- When putting a date in the invoice/payment date field, the calendar stays open if I type in a date even if I click away. I need to press tab to close it, or re-select the date again. This is the opposite to the tab issue when adding invoice items and leads to confusion.

This is really frustrating when all I want is a simplistic way of invoicing, mileage tracking, and cataloging my expenses.

QuickBooks Self Employed is a buggy mess and I can't reach out to anyone for help

I want you to know that I am here whenever you need help with your QuickBooks Self-Employed, ScottMcGready.

For some of your concerns that has something to do with the page, we can do the basic troubleshooting steps. Sometimes, the browser cache and temporary Internet files stored on your computer may be causing problems to the program. To rule this out, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Self-Employed account in an incognito or private browser. This mode doesn't save the cache and temporary Internet files.
  2. After logging in, try to select multiple items when you create the mileage or press the tab on your keyboard. If it works, go back and open your regular browser.
  3. Clear the browser's cache. This helps resolves the common browser-related issues.

Alternatively, use a different browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari) and check to see if you're getting the same result.

With regard to the date field on the invoice and other unexpected behaviors, we will need to investigate on what's causing this. To get this done, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can click the Assistant option or click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click the Continue button.
  4. Select Start a chat or Get a callback.
