Error when creating a bill

Hello,

I have uploaded some receipts paid for by staff (cost of sale - building materials) and I am creating bills for each staff member. Some times it works fine but a couple of times I have gotten an error message that says 'Somethings not quite right - An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again later.'

I left it over night but am getting the same message this morning. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So in order to help you we would need more information on this issue you get. 

 

Does the error show up when you are uploading the image or when you are doing the creation of the bill or is it when your adding the bill to the uploaded image? 

 

Could you please provide us with what you do and what happens so we can look into it more for you.

Of course, the error message comes up when I click the button 'Create Bill' 

 

The photo of the bill has been uploaded okay and I have filled in all the details (payee, due date etc.) It is just when I try to create the bill and move to the supplier section that the message comes up.

Thanks for the information AAllan, can you please clear your cache and cookies to all time, close the browser down, reload it and log back into quickbooks does the same thing happen still? This link will help you with this here

I did what you suggested but am still getting the error message.

 

It might be worth noting that our accountant is trying to do this from his laptop as well and is getting the same message.

Thanks for trying that Allan, what i suggest you do is call the helpline on 0808 234 5337 the line is open from mon to fri 8-7 and you will be able to set up a screenshare with the agent and they will be able to watch what goes on and advise you from there on what needs to be done to fix it.
