Quick Books Self Employed

I have just subscribed to QBSE for my husband who is a self employed Bricklayer.  I can't seem to be able to pull his name and address through to the invoice any ideas, or should I have subscribed to QB online instead, any advice would be helpful. I just want something simple.

Quick Books Self Employed

Good day, @JuBry.

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks as a partner in handling your business. I'd be glad to assist you in this public forum.

Once you create an account in QuickBooks Self-Employed, only the work info that was set up will be added to the program. Also, the program won't record other QuickBooks user data in the system. This is the reason why you're unable to see your husband's account when creating an invoice.

Please take note that this user preference also applies even if you're using QuickBooks Online. You can only use one personal info for all of your Intuit products.

If you want to update your work info and replace them with your husband's data, you can simply edit them in your account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Invoices menu and select Create invoice.
  2. Click Edit work info, then update the work information.
  3. When you're done, select Save

Additionally, you can check out our QuickBooks Self-Employed Video tutorials. This will provide you guidance in setting up your account and how to utilize its features.

I'm still here if you have other questions in regards to managing your account. Just post your questions here, I'll respond as soon as possible. Have a good day ahead.
