Hi @eastcheshire,
I'm here to share insight on your query about recurring invoices.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you have the option to use a different template for any given recurring transaction. Although, the cover email you mentioned, or the Email message that comes along each sent invoice, stays the same.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Recurring transactions.
- Click the New button.
- Choose Invoice on the Transaction Type drop-down menu.
- Tap OK.
To continue this process, see this article: How to create a recurring invoice and manage recurring transactions. Scroll down to see the steps on how you can manage your recurring transactions.
In case you need to make some changes to your recurring templates, see this article for the steps: Edit a recurring template. At the bottom part of the page, you'll see a list of things you can change within an invoice, as well as a short description of the result of changing these values.
You're always welcome to post here in the Community. In case you have other questions, leave it below. I'll be sure to get back to you.
