I appreciate your loyalty to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @melady.
Both QBO and QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) offers a variety of features. However, these two have each own differences in significant ways. That being said, the option for us to change QBO's invoice layout that is similar to QBDT isn’t available.
As a way around, you can import your own invoice template and use it in your account. Let me show you how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Click on QuickBooks Labs.
- Toggle the switch for Import Style to On and click Done to save your changes
- Click the Gear icon again and select Custom Form Styles.
- Under the New Style drop-down, select Import Style.
- Select your file and click Next to upload your document.
