Set email address invoice are sent from

How do I set the email address QB sends from. I use Thunderbird and have several accounts setup. I can get QB to send invoices but it sends from the wrong account. Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community, @BWIDSM.

 

Let’s ensure that your email address is set up correctly as a default on the QuickBooks preferences.

 

 Here’s how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, click on Edit from the menu bar then choose Preferences.
  2. Click on Send Forms from the left panel and select the Company Preferences tab.
  3. Under Company Preferences, set the email as default.
  4. Select Yes on the pop-up then, click on OK.

 

 If you're getting the same result, you can use another email provider so you’ll be able to send invoices. 

 

I also recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. This way, they can check this further and escalate the issue to the appropriate channel.
