We're not aware of any issues accessing the tax centre in QuickBooks Online.
To troubleshoot any browser problems that may be causing this, try accessing QuickBooks in a different web browser or private browsing window.
QuickBooks is an online application that uses browser cache and cookies to run faster, but sometimes these can also block pages from loading. For further tips including how to clear Intuit-specific cookies, see here.
Maybe you could do with some mansplanning Susan? @paul72 and I are experts.
And just to help, tax is working fine here.
I have two UK companies under the same login, the tax centre works fine for one company but not the other so it's obviously not the browser as I toggle back and forth between companies on the exact same browser.
Have you tried a another browser. You know how Intuit work in weird and wornderful ways...
Let me help you sort this out, Susan.
Mark is right. Sometimes, this happens due to browser-related issues. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve this. You can log in to your account using an incognito window. Use the shortcut keys below to access the browser:
This mode deletes cookies and browser history leaving them clean and easy to access any websites and error-free. After that, log in to your account and double-check if the tax center is already working fine. If so, go back to the main browser, clear the cache, and delete some outdated files that might cause the error. Otherwise, use a supported, up-to-date browser.
However, if the same thing happens I suggest contacting our support team to help you what's causing the issue. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment, which we are unable to do here in the Community.
In addition, QuickBooks offers a variety of reports that provide the right data for your business. Read this article on how you can customize them to get the information you need most. I've added this article for more details: Customise Reports In QuickBooks Online.
It's important to ensure you have accurate sales tax calculations and timely tax filings. I am here to provide you with the necessary guidance and support to help you achieve your goals.
I always use incognito, there cache is clear and the browser is up to date - IT IS NOT THE BROWSER.
Why are you talking about reports, I have no issue with reports except in the Tax centre for one company and no issues whatsoever with the other company using the same browser and toggling. It is also happening to my colleague.
This isn't the experience we strive to deliver, Susan. And I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've taken to try and resolve the issue.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a web-based accounting service that relies on your device's processing power, available memory, and internet connection speed. To ensure the best possible experience when using QBO, I recommend checking if your operating system is up to date and meets the basic requirements outlined in the System Requirements for QuickBooks Online products. By doing this, we can narrow down what might be causing the slow performance.
To learn more about why your QuickBooks Online is running slow, you can check out this article: Why is my QuickBooks Online slow?
If you have any additional questions or concerns about navigation issues or how to improve the performance of QBO, please let me know. I'm always here to help. Take care!
And that reply Susan is what is called, botslanning 🤪
