Did you convert data from QB Desktop or use QB Online from scratch?
Let's ensure you can download all your QuickBooks Online (QBO) information so you can use it for future reference, especially for potential audits, Dan.
If you're using QBO Advanced, you can utilize the backup company feature to create a copy of your company data. If you're on one of the lower-tier plans, you may want to consider upgrading your subscription.
However, if you prefer to continue using QuickBooks Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus, you can export your reports and lists into individual Excel files. Ensure to filter the date range to include all the transactions you need.
Here's how to do it:
Please note that you have to export non-posting transactions and attachments separately, as they are not included in the standard lists. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in the article: Export reports, lists, and more.
Moreover, for guidance on closing your previous financial year and preparing for the new one in QuickBooks Online, please refer to this article: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online.
I'll always be here to assist if you need further assistance during the importing process, Dan. Wishing you the best as you move forward.
