There is a significant difference between QB's handling of EPS and HMRC actual repayments.

HMRC give me 'refunds', IE not taking payments for months 1,2 and 3, and then taking payments for the other months. I have not changed any values since then. QB is still assuming that I am receiving the full £5000, but HMRC aren't. Is there any reason why QB is out of sync with HMRC?

Hello there, Ken. I appreciate you providing this additional information regarding the potential discrepancies between the HMRC PAYE figures and the records in QuickBooks.

I understand you need to know why the actual timing and amounts of HMRC repayments or refunds within its EPS (Employer Payment Summary) aren't matching with QBO.

Since the community is unable to provide information about whether QuickBooks is out of sync with HMRC regarding EPS refunds and repayments, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll live support team. They possess the necessary tools and expertise to thoroughly investigate this issue and provide a tailored solution on how to handle the difference between QBO and HMRC actual repayments.

To contact them, here's how:

  1. Click on the Help (?) icon.
  2. Navigate to the Search tab and select the Contact Us button.
  3. You will be able to request a callback or start a live chat with an expert.
