there is no payment link for my customer to pay me. what do i do??

Welcome to the Community, Garrity.

 

You need to set up either direct debit or credit card via GoCardless, or accept payments using Paypal to allow your customer pay you in QuickBooks. Once done, you can enable payment links or options when they become available.

 

To set up for a GoCardless account, sign up first before connecting the app to QuickBooks. Once set up, you can now collect invoices via direct debit, schedule recurring invoices for direct debit, set up new mandates with customers, import existing mandates from GoCardless, and manage your mandates from within QuickBooks.

You can also consider connecting QuickBooks with Zettle by PayPal to manage payments. For more details, check out the How do I connect QuickBooks with Zettle section in the FAQs.
