This is a brand new account. In trying to create a VAT return for the last quarter of the previous year I ended up creating exceptions. I thought I had got rid of them but they have appeared in the first quarter of the current year as exceptions. Can I remove these exceptions from my VAT submission.
If you believe these are not genuine exceptions, you can remove these via a journal entry. We are unable to advise how to create this journal as we are not accountant trained, you will need to speak to an accountant about this. If you are not sure, and do not have an accountant to speak to, you can contact our support team (0808 234 5337) who will be able to make a request for the engineers to create this journal for you.
