Warning dialog after running diagnostics tool

I'm running QuickBooks Desktop 2019 Pro.

I recently ran the diagnostics tool (QB was running slow, and this was suggested to me).  After that finished, I ran QB and it came up with the following warning box:

I have no idea what this means.  Can anyone help?

Let's get your QuickBooks Desktop back up and running smoothly, LynneLaser.

I appreciate your effort in performing some troubleshooting steps beforehand. Allow me to provide additional suggestions to help resolve your QuickBooks performance issue.

Below are the lists of possible reasons why your QuickBooks is running slow:

  • QuickBooks is not updated
  • The computer does not meet the minimum system requirements
  • Damaged or missing QBWUSER.INI file
  • Corrupted hard drive
  • Damaged program files or QuickBooks Desktop installation
  • Damaged Windows operating system

To better isolate this issue, let's try to update the Windows on your computer. Updates will prevent and fix install errors. Here's how:

  1. Review the “how to manually update” sections of this Microsoft article and update your version of Windows.
  2. Once the update finishes, restart your computer.
  3. If you were able to open QuickBooks before you saw the error, Open QuickBooks and your company file.
  4. If you weren't able to finish installing QuickBooks, install QuickBooks Desktop again.

For other troubleshooting steps, you can go through this article (proceed to Step 4): Fix QuickBooks Desktop install errors.

I'll be sharing with you the following write-up: Resolve QuickBooks Desktop performance issues: Manage your computers. This contains more information on how to manage your operating system as well as things to remember before upgrading your computer to avoid performance issues in QuickBooks.

Feel free to drop a reply if you have any other concerns. I'd be happy to lend you a hand.
