It’s definitely frustrating when you’re trying to check on your business health and all you see is a blank screen, especially after you've already gone through the trouble of reinstalling the app. I know you need those numbers to stay on top of your finances, so let's get that dashboard working again.
Even though the app is reinstalled, sometimes the phone holds onto old data that causes these display issues. This usually happens when the app has trouble pulling info from the cloud. Here are the best steps to fix this:
Open a private or incognito window on your computer or phone and log in to your account there. This helps us see if the data is safe in the cloud and if the issue is just with the app.
Since reinstalling doesn't always wipe everything, try a deeper clean. Go to Settings, then Apps, select QuickBooks, then Storage, and tap Clear Cache and Clear Data. For iOS, you’ll need to Offload the App in your phone settings and then reinstall it.
Make sure the date range or filters on your dashboard are set to a period where you know you have transactions. If the filter is set to a time with no data, it might look like a blank page.
Testing this in a private browser window is a great way to make sure your data is secure and visible. If the web version works, we know we just need to focus on the app settings.
