Hi there, Tristan.
I appreciate your confirmation as the Admin of the account. To verify this, please check your settings in the Manage Users section to confirm you have marked yourself as the Primary Admin.
This issue arises when you log into your Intuit account and open a QuickBooks company file, but you are not designated as the Primary Admin for that file. Ensure that you are signed in using the Intuit account assigned as the Primary Admin for the company file.
To fix this and verify, here’s what you need to do:
- Log in to QuickBooks using your Intuit account credentials.
- Click on the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Under Your Company, select Manage Users.
- Choose Users to confirm your role. Make sure your name is listed as the Primary Admin for the account.
If it turns out you’re logged into QuickBooks with the wrong Intuit account (an account that doesn’t have Primary Admin access), you’ll need to sign out and log back in using the correct Intuit account credentials.
If you require further assistance, feel free to return and let us know.
