Hello there, Laura.
Refreshing and updating the data in your apps are the troubleshooting steps to ensure you can successfully send invoices to your customers without any issues.
Here's how you can refresh your data on various mobile operating systems:
For Android devices:
For iOS devices:
These will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.
If you have completed this step and the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the application to ensure compatibility and proper functionality.
In the meantime, you can send invoices using the web browser. This way, you can efficiently continue managing your invoices.
To learn how to enter money you receive from customers, you can explore this article for reference: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks.

It’s a bug on the IOS app.
Instead of clicking the SEND button (which just causes the app to appear to quit), go into the invoice, tap the 3 dots top right and select email. You can then send as normal.
Quickbooks are aware of the bug and it’s in their list to be fixed.
You may also see a popup (also a bug which Quickbooks are aware of) saying:
Invoice needs approval
The changes made to invoice needs an internal approval before it can be sent to the customer
You can ignore this message as the invoice is sent.
