Hi, @dave19. I completely recognise having immediate visibility of the client name when you're toggling between multiple entities for payroll. In a high-stakes workflow, a missing header isn't just a design flaw, but it's an operational risk. One common reason for disappearing headers is the Zoom level. You'll want to check this first.
To help us pin down why this is happening, could you confirm if that "Good Morning" banner is only appearing on the main Dashboard after you click in from your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) list, or if the client name is missing across all screens (like the Register or Reports)?
Please know that QuickBooks uses a "responsive" design, meaning if you are zoomed in too far, the software prioritises that greeting banner and "collapses" the Company Name to save space.
You can quickly reset your view using these shortcuts:
- Windows: Press Ctrl and minus (-) to zoom out; Ctrl + 0 to reset to 100%.
- Mac: Press Cmd and minus (-) to zoom out; Cmd + 0 to reset.
You can also look at the right side of your browser's address bar for a magnifying glass icon. Clicking it will show your current percentage and give you an instant reset button.

If the Zoom reset doesn't immediately fix the visibility of the company name, please let me know. We want to make sure you can move through your client list with total confidence that you're in the right file.
