Hello there, Nesrine. QuickBooks Online (QBO) will not recognize the account name in the journal entry you are trying to import if it does not exactly match the Account names in the Chart of Accounts.
There are multiple subtle reasons why the account name from your CSV file does not match the account name in the Chart of Accounts. It's best to review the CSV file in Excel to ensure that account names have similar capitalization and do not contain special characters. Also, check if there are extra spaces in the account names, as it can be hard to notice. These issues can prevent the account names in your journal entry CSV from matching the Chart of Accounts.
Additionally, make sure that account numbers are turned off to ensure a smooth import. You can turn the account numbers on once the import is complete. If you are using a subaccount, include both the parent account and subaccount names, separated by a colon. For example, Parent account:Subaccount. Only entering the subaccount name will cause a "Line Account invalid" error.
