Will someone please let me know why my bank link hasn't updated the transactions for over 24 hours, but the balance changes when there has been a transaction.

My bank accounts connected to Quickbooks haven't updated for over 24 hours. No transactions are showing, but when a client pays me the balance increases, but not showing the transaction. I have to mark the payment as being a cash payment, which isn't correct. I have unconnected and reconnected my bank accounts and still not working. Either on the app or online. Can someone please help.

Thanks for taking the time to explain your issue in detail, mandycorner16. We truly appreciate your patience and effort as you work to resolve this matter.

 

Beforehand, I'd like to ask for the name of your financial institution so I can check for any related issues. Alternatively, log in to your bank's website to see if there's a temporary outage, maintenance, or an ongoing known issue. Otherwise, check the other tabs on your Banking page to ensure nothing has been placed somewhere unexpected.

 

Also, please know that QuickBooks doesn’t download pending transactions. It only downloads posted transactions from your bank. In the meantime, we can manually update the feed to grab the latest activity from your bank.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to My Apps and select Bank transactions.
  2. From the Banking page, click Update.
  3. Once updated, check the For review tab to see if the missing transaction appears.
