Hi @buzz21, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I appreciate your feedback and understand the importance of aligning the layout with proper standards and your preferences. Let's take a closer look at this issue and explore how to resolve it for you.
To help us better understand your concern, could you please specify which Balance Sheet reports you're looking at and which specific view you're referring to? Any additional details or screenshots you can provide would be immensely helpful in identifying the root cause of the issue.
If you're referring to the Balance Sheet Comparison report, please note that the Account names are always listed on the left side of the report, while the Time Period amounts are displayed on the right. This standard arrangement is designed to allow for easy side-by-side comparison of different time periods.

Alternatively, if you're working with the Time Period filter settings, you have the option to customize the order of your report columns. To achieve the desired sequence, first select the Previous Period (PP) and then the Previous Year (PY) in the filter settings. When you generate the report using this specific filter order, the columns will display in the sequence: Current Period first, followed by Previous Period (PP), and then Previous Year (PY).

I hope this information provides you with a clearer understanding of how QuickBooks Online (QBO) functions regarding Balance Sheet reports.
