I'm here to assist you in running a report that displays the description in QuickBooks Online.
You'll need to run a Sales report for it to show the description field. Here's how to do it:
- On the left navigation panel, click Reports.
- Search for Sales by Customer Detail report.
- Run report.
- If the Memo/Description column isn't visible, customise the report to turn the column on.
It's important to note that sales reports base the description column on the transaction line items while transaction reports base the description field on the transaction itself.
