Hello, whenever i try creating invoices and follow the receive payments and recored deposit option, that particular one payment will be showing thrice in Journal reports. Also if i enter a supplier bill & pay bill that payment would be reflect twice on journal reports.Am really confused please help me to sort out this.

Here are the possible factors why the journal report is displaying thrice for invoice payment and twice for bill payment: 

• The Automatically apply payments feature is enabled from the Preferences menu.
• The Automatically use credits box is checked in the Bills section. 
• Your company file may have data damage.

First, let's review the said two features if they're enabled or not. I'll guide you how. 

1. Go to Edit from the top menu. 
2. Select Preferences. 
3. Choose Payments. 
4. Make sure the Automatically apply payments feature isn't turned on. 
5. Click Bills. 
6. Be sure the Automatically use credits box isn't checked. 
7. Select OK. 

The screenshot below shows you the steps. 

If you make any changes to the settings, this will reflect on the future transactions you'll create. Thus, let's manually delete those duplicates by clicking each transaction in the Journal report.
