Let's perform some steps so you can see the expanded version of the total amounts in the VAT 100 report, @communityoil.
It's likely caused by too much local internet cache files on the browser. This might be the reason why the report has no data when you click the Total amounts on the VAT 100 report.
To start with, you can access QBO using a private window. It doesn't store data in the cache so this is a great way in isolating the issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
- Command + Shift + N (Safari)
- Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
Once opened, go to the Taxes menu and run the VAT 100 report. If private browsing works, you'll have to clear the cache of your regular browser. This fixes the unexpected behavior of the product. If not, I recommend switching to other compatible browsers.
You can also directly run the VAT Detail report. This lets you see the expanded version of each box of the on the VAT return. It also helps you ensure the taxes are correct before submitting the form.
If there’s anything else you need, I’m just a comment away. Have a nice day, @communityoil.
