Hello, christheplumber.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and letting me know about the error you've encountered in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I've checked with my resources and verify with our engineering team. We didn't receive any reported issue as same as you've encountered in QuickBooks.
Let's isolate this case by opening QuickBooks using an incognito or private browser. This helps us identify if it's related to a browser issue. Too much-stored data file may lead to unusual behaviors in QuickBooks.
Here's how:
- Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
- Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
- Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.
If it works, go back to your main browser and clear its cache to remove the browser's history. I also recommend using other supported browsers. This can be a temporary issue with the browser that you're using when opening QuickBooks Self-Employed.
If the same things happen, You also have the option to manually import your bank transactions, check out this article how: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Then, you can review and categorize the transactions once it's on the Transactions page.
I'm just a few clicks away if you have any other concerns or questions. Stay safe and have a great rest of the day.
