Welcome aboard to the QuickBooks family. Let’s get the MTD feature setup correctly and reverse the submission of your VAT return.
To cancel it, we’ll have to verify the account first. The Community is a public platform and gathering of personal data can't be done for safety and security.
I suggest contacting our QBO Care Team since they can access the account in a secure environment. Aside from that, they have tools to undo the submission and assist you in setting up the MTD.
After reaching out to them, your company should be MTD ready.

Hello Community Users, we just wanted to pop in and add a helpful article on fixing error messages in QuickBooks Online when trying to file VAT via MTD. It is worth checking the obligation(VAT period) dates that HMRC is expecting on their gateway page as a starting point if you have already set up and been filing MTD and you get an error message.
If you need to unfile a VAT return in QuickBooks Online(depending on your user type you may not be able to do this) you can follow the steps here
