Profit and Loss Budget Report

I have been forced to migrate to Quickbooks Online because Quickbooks Desktop stopped Payroll Functionality.  Not impressed so far as Payroll is not working and has an error which is being investigated by Intuit.

However this is not what I am asking about.

The main report that I used in Quickbooks Desktop is Profit and Loss Budget Performance Report.  I cannot see this report in list of reports showing on Quickbooks Online.  How do I replicate this report, that is provided on Quickbooks Desktop, in the online version of Quickbooks?

Thanks

Profit and Loss Budget Report

Thanks for checking in with us, KLQ60.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus version, we can run a  Budget vs. Actuals report. This allows you to compare your budgets and what you spent.

If you haven't created a budget in your account, just follow the steps and details in this article: Create and import budgets into QuickBooks Online.

Then, follow the steps below to run the report:

  1. Click Reports on the left side menu.
  2. Type Budget vs. Actuals in the search field,
  3. Filter the Report period.
  4. Click Run report.

If you need to set budget targets for each class, check out this article for the detailed steps: Set budget targets for each class.

For more details about running reports in QBO, refer to these articles:
