When viewing my profit and loss or just expenses I can’t just view the tax year (April to April) can I make this my default view?

It was in QuickBooks self employed app as default view.

Hi there, Dh84work. Currently, there is no option to set a default view for the Profit & Loss report. However, you can manually customize the date range to any period, such as April to April.

You can do this by navigating to Reports and selecting Profit and Loss. In the Report period dropdown, select Custom dates. After that, you can change the date range as preferred.

Since the report won't save your date settings, you might find it helpful to use the Email icon within the report. This allows you to send a copy of the specific April–April view directly to your inbox for easy reference later.

You can check the Spam or Junk folders to make sure the emailed reports aren't being incorrectly filtered. If you find the email there, mark it as Not Spam or Not Junk to move it to your inbox. This also helps train your email provider to trust the sender. To avoid similar issues in the future, add Intuit’s service addresses to your safe sender list.

If they're still missing, resend them using a web browser to determine if the issue is isolated to the mobile app. You can also use another email address when resending the report to verify.
