Learn how to record a cash back to your credit card account in QuickBooks Online.
If you receive a cash back or a refunded amount of the purchases made on your credit card, we're here to help. You can easily record it to balance your transactions flow.
What you should do:
- Select + New.
- Select Card credit.
- Find the appropriate account from the Bank/Credit Account drop-down box.
- Under the Category details, select the account that you have for your cash back rewards whether expense/income account as you see fit.
Note: If you don't have an account to track your cash back rewards, you need to create one. Please see How to create a new parent account or subaccount.
- Enter the other needed information.
- Select Save and close.
