Are you trying to add your customer phone number on your invoice? If so, this option is unavailable for now QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
However, if you have a client who has a QBSE account and the phone number doesn't show on his customer's invoice, it could be that there's an issue with his browser. This can be the reason why his phone details doesn't appear on his customer's invoice.
To isolate the issue, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps. First, ask your client to send his invoice using a private window. This mode doesn't save any browsing history on his web. Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
To avoid duplicating the transaction, let him delete the invoice first before sending invoice. Once the invoice is successfully sent, ask your client to check if his customer can see his phone number. If his customer was able to see it, then he can go back to his regular browser and clear its cache. Or else, use another supported browser to send his invoice.
