Hello there, @danielwatson08.

There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed pages, thus causing some unusual behavior of the system. Let's go ahead and check first the Audit Log page to verify that no one deleted the estimate transaction you've created. Then, log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account through a private browser (incognito) to isolate the issue.

You can visit the Audit Log page by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit log.
  3. Choose the Filter button.
  4. Fill in all the necessary details (i.e. User and Dates)
  5. Go to the Events section then, select the Show only these events option.
  6. Select the Transactions box, then choose the Deleted/Voided Transactions option in the Show field.
  7. Click the Apply button.

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the last five steps.

Once confirmed that no other user deleted the estimate you've created, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to start isolating the issue. Log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, locate the estimate you've created from the Sales menu. If you're able to find the said transaction, return to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if the problem continues, you can use other supported browsers.

In case you're unable to resolve the issue after performing the steps above, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can securely pull up your account, verify the cause of this matter, and guide you with a fix.

You can also pull up the Estimates by Customer report. This way, you're able to effectively monitor your estimate transactions and check whether they're accepted and invoiced. Just go to the Sales and customers section from the Reports menu's Standard tab.

Additionally, you're able to personalise your estimates to add the info that matters most to your business. With this, you're able to create attractive and professional-looking sales forms. You can learn more about this by checking out this article: Customise estimates in QuickBooks Online. It also includes steps about editing custom templates.

Please know that you're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about managing estimates and other sales transactions in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care.
