You can automate invoices with our recurring transaction feature in QuickBooks Online (available in Essentials, Plus, and Advanced).
This allows you to create templates for regular transactions, like invoices, and you can indicate whether it should automatically send emails. For full info on creating recurring transactions in QBO, see here.
