Hi there anyone know how to sort out my invoices,I send to customer and when they go to review and pay it doesn’t let them, there’s no link ?Cheers

I have the steps to ensure that your customers can easily pay their invoices, Conrad. Allow me to provide some insight into this matter and share a solution to help get you back to business.

Before we proceed, may I know what specific error message your customers have encountered when trying to access or pay their invoices? Understanding this will help us pinpoint the root cause of the issue.

In the meantime, it's important to recognise that in the QuickBooks UK version, the ability to accept electronic payments requires you to set up the PayPal application within your QBO account. This functionality lets you create a distinct link to include in your invoices that your customers can click to send their payments directly to you.

You can refer to this article for more detailed instructions, if your PayPal account is already connected, you have to focus on performing Steps 3 and 4 as outlined in the article: Accept Card Payments with PayPal app in QuickBooks Online.

However, if your PayPal account is already set up but customers are facing issues, you can advise them to perform basic troubleshooting steps such as checking their internet connectivity and using private or incognito windows to rule out cache problems in your browser.

Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If operating in a private browsing session resolves the issue, it's advisable to let your customers clear their browser's cache to facilitate a system reboot. This procedure is also applicable in other supported and up-to-date browsers.

Additionally, here's an article that you can read to learn how to refund a customer in QuickBooks Online: Record a customer refund in QuickBooks Online.

We're dedicated to making your invoicing process simple, Conrad. Feel free to revisit this thread for clarification on setting up the PayPal application or for any troubleshooting questions. We're always here to help.
