How do I attach a "captured receipt" to a customer's invoice?

Hi john-vinson

You would only be able to attach it to a corresponding transaction. You would have to save the image of the expense to your computer and then attach it to the invoice.

How do I attach a "captured receipt" to a customer's invoice?

Hello John-vinson

Welcome to the Community page,

You can attach the receipt to the customers invoice in the attachment section at the bottom left of the invoice.

How do I attach a "captured receipt" to a customer's invoice?

Thanks, but that doesn't work.  I've taken photos of receipts using the app and then in Quickbooks on line I have completed the information in 'banking' - 'Receipts' tab.  SO I now have a phot of the expense and I want to attach that to a customers invoice without having to photograph the receipt again, save as a picture and attach to the invoice in the way you've described.  I'm hoping there is a way of directly attaching the receipt to the invice

cheers
