How do I get the estimate number to appear on the invoice?

I know a way on how to get the estimate number to appear on the invoice, userbev1.

We can create a Custom field and name it as Estimate number and manually enter them the number. Let me show you how:

  1. Create an invoice.
  2. Click the Gear icon on the transaction.
  3. Tap the + Add custom field link.
  4. In the Name field, type Estimate Number.
  5. Select category and forms.
  6. Press Save.
