I'd be glad to share with you the steps on how you can add the transaction in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Here's how:
- Go to the Transactions menu and click Add transaction.
- Enter the date that you sold the gift cards, then add a description as well.
- Add the amount in the Amount column and select Business under Type.
- Click Select a category and select Income or the correct category.
- Click Save.
After that, you can run your Profit and Loss report to review the amounts of income that you recorded. Just go to the Reports menu, look for Profit and Loss, and then click the View link beside it.
