Hi there, kelvin-h-hotmail.

Thank you for coming back to QuickBooks Community to provide additional details and the specific error you received.

There are cases we can experience unexpected behavior and issues from time to time. Data problems might be the reason that no fees are coming up when uploaded the CSV files or there isn't a way to add them in and received an unusual error message.

I recommend logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. Then, upload the transactions from there or finish importing entries. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works in incognito, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. You can check this article to see the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as alternatives.

If you're still unable to see the fees, I suggest manually update your bank account by toggling the Refresh all button a couple of times. This is to ensure that you'll see the latest and complete entries and to make sure your bank transactions are up-to-date.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click the Refresh all radio button a couple of times to update your banks.

In case you need to edit a categorize transactions in your QBSE account and how to see steps on how you can manage duplicate transactions and how to prevent them in the future, you can check the articles below.

Please let us know in the comment section below if you have other questions or concerns with your QBSE account. I'd be glad to help you anytime. Take care!

I figure I might of pressing the continue button too early when it says getting transactions but when i wait for it to finish it says "Hmm, looks like we hit a snag"

Going incognito and pressing refresh a few times seems to have worked thanks
