I've added some text to feature on the invoice but it's not appearing

I've added it in the box above the 'Add payment details and footer' sub heading, that is shown in the 'content' ta on the 'Edit invoices that turn heads and open wallets' screen. The text I added to the 'Add payment details and footer' box is displaying. Any help appreciated.

I'm here to help you, @cjcarlettiwest.

 

To reflect the modified template, make sure you select or apply the correct template to the invoice by clicking the Customise button. 

 

If the same thing happens, probably, this is a browser-related issue. You can follow the steps below:

 

Step 1: Use an incognito window:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari
     

Step 2: Delete cache and temporary internet files:

 

If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance. It will also help delete the information stored in the cache. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online

Hi,

That didn't seem to work unfortunately. I’ve only got a single template that can be sued which is the standard one. I’ve checked & the invoices are using that template to which the text has been added.  

 

I’ve tried the browser incognito suggestion & even used a completely fresh browser but that didn’t help.

Thanks for getting back to us. I appreciate your time to do all the suggested steps given by my colleague. 

 

Since you already did all of the basic steps, I'll point us to the right direction to have this investigated. 

 

We'll want to contact one of our support agents so they can check what's preventing the text from showing on your template and fix it. We'd like to do it here, but this requires us to access the system and your account.

 

With that said, here's how to contact our support: 

 

  1. Click the Help icon. 
  2. On the pop-up window, go to the Search tab. 
  3. Click the Contact Us button. 
  4. In the text box, add something like "Message to customer on text won't appear..." or similar.
  5. Proceed with the Continue button, then click the chat option.
