Please note that the option to create a cash receipt is unavailable. Instead, you can make an invoice and manually mark it as paid.

- Click on Dashboard.
- Under the Quick Actions section, choose Invoice.
- Add your customer, product, or service.
After creating your invoices, record the payment and choose Cash in the Deposited to dropdown menu.
Regarding the Help suggestion you're referring to, those are designed to guide and suggest how to optimize your QuickBooks experience.
You can click on the X or No, thanks button to prevent the pop-ups from showing up again.
If you’re unable to add a customer because they already exist in the app but aren’t appearing in the system, try refreshing the app to ensure everything is updated and functioning properly.
Let’s first ensure you have a strong and stable WIFI or cellular data connection. If the connection is stable, try restarting or refreshing the app and device to clear any temporary bugs. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings and select General.
- Tap iPhone Storage and choose the QuickBooks Online app.
- Select Offload App to free up space while retaining the app's data and documents.
