I want to ensure you can successfully upload your receipts and won't jump to the current one in QuickBooks Online (QBO), nas3.

In QuickBooks Online, when you upload receipts, they should not jump back to the current date after you save them. The receipts should remain in the location where you uploaded them.

It could be a technical glitch if you're experiencing any issues with the receipts jumping back or not being saved correctly. Let's reset the app data to clear the cache and refresh it into its default state. Before doing so, let's ensure that your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app is updated. It helps your application work continuously without interruptions.

For Android:

  1. Go to Menu ☰ , then click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Yes.

For iOS:

  1. Go to the Menu ☰ icon, then select Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Select Refresh.

After that, try to upload your receipts and see if you are still jumping to the current. However, if the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app. It allows you to use the app on a clean slate. Follow the steps below to proceed:

  1. Tap and hold the app on your phone.
  2. Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.

Once done, visit these links to reinstall the QBO mobile app:

For the detailed steps on reinstalling the QBO mobile app, see this article: How to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Additionally, once everything's good, you can visit these articles to learn more about the receipt snap feature:

Please update me on how it goes, as I want to ensure everything is handled. Let me know by commenting below if you have any other concerns with snap receipts. I'm always here to assist you. Have a great day!
