Invoice payment link not working

I have had 2 customers today say that when they click on the link to view and pay an invoice, from their email, it's coming up with a Quickbooks page with an error message saying an unexpected error has occurred.

 

I've attached a screenshot showing it too?

 

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Is there any response to this? It's very frustrating for customers who want to pay by card and can't?

The issue is still ongoing.Our engineers are working on a resolution at the moment the only resolution would be to ask them to pay manually or wait for the investigation to be resolved.

We are sorry about the inconvenience to you and your customers.

Invoice payment link not working

1. I tried to send the invoice again - FAILED.

2. I tried to add a $0 transaction to the invoice and send again - FAILED.

3. I deleted the invoice and created a new invoice by copying the data and pasting it to the new invoice and sending - FAILED, then waited 5 minutes, - FIXED - SUCCESS!

Multiple customers are unable to pay their invoice.  It's random, some can, some can't.  How do we resolve this?

Does your customer get any errors when they try to pay the invoice for you?

Yes, mutiple, random tenants receive the error message,  "Error, you can try again, or come back later and try connecting then". One tenant tried paying from multiple phones and computers with multiple different browsers. Another tenant said he received the error, changed nothing, and it let him pay later.

As the pay now function is linked to integration with the Paypal app can we ask you to try disconnecting the Paypal app in the my apps section and then reconnecting it. Could you then ask one of the tenants experiencing this to try again. If they get the same message could you reply back here with a screen shot of the message as an attachment

Hi Quickbooks Team, 
One of my client's is experiencing the same error message when trying to pay. (See attached screenshot).

Hello there, @jeff15.

 

There are times that your browser is full of frequently-accessed page resources, causing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to act strange.

 

You can refer to these shortcut keys:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl Shift N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command Shift N for Safari.

If it works, clear your browser’s cache to speed up the loading process of the QBO website and for the system to start fresh. 

 

Otherwise, switch to another browser if the issue persists.

 

If they’re still experiencing this unexpected behavior, I would ask you to reach our Customer Care Team for further assistance.
