invoicing clients showing deposits required and balances due

im trying to raise invoices showing the required deposit due immediately and the balance due upon delivery or completion of job. ??

Hello Drifthomedesign, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

In Quickbooks Self-employed you cant show deposits, it doesn't have that feature in the system, it is a case of raising two invoices one that would be the deposit, and another that would be the balance due.
