Hello, @DaveYork1.
I appreciate you for choosing QuickBooks as your partner in business and also for posting here in the Community.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can either record your fuel consumption as an expense or use the mileage tracker.
If you want to record it as an expense, here’s how:
- Select the Transactions menu. On the upper right corner, click the Add transaction.
- Enter the Date, Description, and the Amount of the transaction.
- Select a category of the transaction and add Notes.
- Once completed, click Save.
You can use this article to know the steps if you want to use a mileage tracker in QuickBooks Self-Employed: Track mileage.
